All our items are made from real, authentic, used, and refurbished bourbon barrel parts and have been used to distill bourbon. All barrels are different! Some might be bigger or smaller than others. They may not look the same as the ones in the photos. They all have some imperfections, which include, but are not limited to, cracks, checks, discoloration, missing pieces, gaps in the wood, and some may not lay perfectly flat. This happens after a barrel has been dried out after years of being soaked in bourbon. We try to get out as many of these imperfections as we can, without losing its natural, rustic look. But this is what makes each item truly unique and one of a kind.
